I have the luxury now of having a place where I can work on my computer and sit at a desk at the same time. It’s nice to have that space available. We moved Charlie’s office upstairs and turned his old office into a playroom and a place for my computer, a printer, and the scanner that I really want to start using.

I hooked my widescreen laptop and an older pc up to a KVM switch which connects to a larger widescreen monitor. I can’t get the resolution right when the laptop is selected though. This doens’t make sense to me considering the laptop is already widescreen. The only thing I can think of is that the KVM switch isn’t able to pull off the widescreen part. I’ve looked for information about it on Google, but I can’t find anything about KVM switches and wireless networks, other than people just coommenting about their working hookup. Someone please mention a brand and model for me so I can get one of these things.

I’m working on an HP laptop that seems to have been beat around a bit. My first customer called me back to have me work on his mom’s laptop. It needs a hard drive upgrade but the whole laptop is actually trashed. It looks like someone dropped it about 40 times off a 10 story building. The space bar is missing and it doens’t even boot right now.

I hope to work on the computer by the end of tomorrow.
